Right off the bat, this book is dope straight up and down. When you read the first page it defines Rza's message to the reader in layman terms. I don't want to give the book away so purchase it and find out for your-self, on the real. Well enough of the slang; all I have to say is, if you want to start your own group or become an artist, this book will break down the possible strategies word for word on how to build an organization that you can be proud of. Before I read this book I liked Wu-Tang Clan and now I have a deeper understanding on what they have accomplished through hard work and dedication. This book's main narrator is Rza and he is very intelligent and witty. If you take the time to read this straight forward book, you will gain a lot of insight that will make you feel that anything is possible as long as you believe in yourself. There are a few quotes Rza mentions in this book but my favorite, since i am a Martial Arts fan and student is one by Buddha; "Believe nothing no matter where you read it or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense." Wow, what a quote unveiled to the reader! It speaks for itself and that is what I got from the Wu-Tang Manual. Even if you are not a fan of the group you cannot deny what they did for the Hip Hop movement. They were pioneers in their time and in some sense even now in the present. But again, this is what I believe. This book is just a book about an awesome group who went against all odds and became triumphant. I still get baffled that the group used only a small amount of money to get started. So without giving away the entire book, I advise all True Hip Hop heads to go out and purchase it. I promise you it will be worth every penny, ya heard!

Check out this dope book by, Jeannette Walls. It is on the New York Times best seller list. This novel deals with the author's true account of her rocky, but loving childhood. It is a novel that is very well written, and draws upon all of our human emotions; being happy, sad and even mad. It is a story of never giving up, and that no matter what hand your dealt with you can become a winner. All you have to do is believe in yourself, and work smart. This novel takes place all over America from as far as California all the way to New York. The title of the book: "The Glass Castle" has significant meaning and I do not want to give it away but rather allow you the reader to find the meaning out for yourself. So when you feel like relaxing or when you feel that life is bringing you down please go out to your local library or bookstore and purchase a copy of this well written novel. I promise that if you read the entire novel you will not be disappointed. Instead you will have a new understanding that any dream no matter how big or small can be achieved in spite of the odds.

This novel is a true masterpiece and was published September 21, 1937. Even though, most of us were not born at the time when it was written many of us have seen or are in the process of seeing or reading the sequel, "The Lord of the Rings", that was written by the same author. The main character is a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who is a creature that was developed from the author's imagination. JR.R. Tolkien originally wrote this book for his children and it became a classic over night. To be frank, this novel is all fiction and deals with fantasy character's like Gandalf the wizard who seems to show up when there is trouble and Smaug the dragon who terrorizes the land. I suggest that anyone who enjoys reading fantasy novels or wants to create their own masterpiece like a new song, poem, short story or novel should read, "The Hobbit". It is a book that has many themes but overall it deals with good overcoming evil. Please go and check out this classic at your local bookstore, or library. Oh, and by the way the movie, "The Hobbit", will be coming out in 2012 so be ready for it; I know that I will!

On the front of the book there is this quote by Newsweek, "Absorb this book and you can throw out all those contemporary books about management leadership." Newsweek definitely has a point; "The Art of War", written, by Sun Tzu and translated by Thomas Cleary provides the reader with a descriptive but concise account of basic principles on how to live and prosper through good and hard times. In one of my favorite stories, Thomas Cleary touches briefly on the Monkey King. If you have watched the movie, "Forbidden Kingdom", by Jet Li and Jackie Chan, you will enjoy this part of the book specifically. The Monkey King in the "Art of War" was a mischievous leader who was eventually imprisoned and released by the Buddha, but only with one restriction. The restriction was to wear a ring around his neck which symbolized compassion; In that, anytime the Monkey King got into mischief it would constantly remind him to be compassionate by tightening around his neck. The story illustrates to the reader that a great warrior must have compassion and be truthful. There are many stories and principles in this book that are derived from Taoism. "The Art of War", has been translated many times, and I would recommend this book to everyone because Thomas Cleary gives the reader a clear picture on dealing with conflict without using aggression. Please purchase this book, or borrow it from your local library. I promise you my friend that you will not be disappointed.
